My experience in speaking English!

I know I have many problems in speaking, especially when I just came here, my speaking was very terrible. At that time, I studied level 6. In my class, most of people have lived here for near 1 year or over 1 year while I have lived here for a few months. When talking, they can understand each other easily. However, for me, no one can understand me and I can't also understand them easily. My speaking was so terrible that some people got too bored to listen me. I usually stayed alone. So I was so depressed and lonely that I wanted to give up this level. When speaking, I 'm always scared that I was bothering everyone to listen to me because they couldn't understand. I always told my listener: " I have problems in speaking. If you can't understand, u can ask me again! I will try to explain to u".

However, my classmates and teachers started to teach me how to pronounce. I usually asked them how to pronounce, and they helped me a lot. They are so kind! It is a good memory!

I was less shy and scared to talk more even though I always made a lot of mistakes. When I was speaking, I was a center of my group because they had to be careful in paying attention to listen my speaking!:)

Thanks to their helps, although I still have a lot of problems of speaking now, I have improved it a lot! It is not enough to thank them more and more times!

According to my experience, I understand that practising English as much as possible with being willing to make mistakes is a way to improve English more easily. In this way, you have more chances to identify and correct your weak points.

Also, I know that environment factors in learning language are easy to affect to your motivation. In fact, when no one could understand me, I didn't want to speak English any more. But after that, I always reminded myself that if I couldn't speak English well, I couldn't communicate, make friends and go to university. I encourged myself to try to speak, try to speak, and I would be successful in making people understand me.

Moreover, another pleasure which I get is a close relationship with my classmates and my teachers. I like to go out with them. I 'm not lonely anymore. I love them!:)
