Book review

Kathy Reichs, who is the author of Monday Mourning which is a story not only in Quebec but also related to the South America. In this story, she was trying to investigate three skeletons that were found in a basement in an old building. By many efforts and determinations, she discovered they are three young girls who were killed twenties years ago. After that, one old woman tried to call her to announce that she knew who killed three girls. It was hoped as a door to open the mystery if she could contact with the old woman.
Finally, she found this woman, but she was a clean death on her own bed. Only witness became quiet forever, which not only didn’t make Temper give up but also motivated her to find the murderer as quickly as possible. She tried her best to combine the information of owners of the building and story of old dead woman which was told by her sister logically. The story was that the dead old woman saw one of owners of the building- Menard who took one unconscious young girl in his building at midnight. At another midnight, she saw this girl again when she was caught and pulled in the building by this man. This story made Temper thought that one of three skeletons might be this girl and Menard is the murderer. She decided to investigate him. Finally, she found him dead and other two girls in his house. Is this girl one of victims? Is Menard the murder? Did he suicide to pay for his crimes or escape punishment? Who are other two girls? You will be interested and surprised when knowing the ending.
